I Believe The World Is Better When People Pursue Their Dreams & Reach Their Full Potential…
But the old way of doing things is a dead end for most Americans.
The whole premise of going to school for 20 years to build a 35-year career and retire to Florida is flawed, unfulfilling and as time goes on, unattainable.
It’s flawed because it assumes you have only one true passion or goal in life and that you know what it is as a young person. Then it encourages you to continue investing in a career you’ve outgrown and all but eliminates any likelihood of ever finding, honing and mastering your true passions and talents.
Talk about failure to launch.
And it leads to statistics like these:

And it’s no wonder.
Most Americans view workforce-relevant skills and knowledge as more important than personal and intellectual growth.
If you’re not growing, you’re dying.
You know that to be true — it’s a law of nature.
The 8-hour work day is an outdated ideal.
In the internet age, you know that to be true, as well.
Worst of all, it’s a trap even if you do find a job that properly suits you.

The writing’s on the wall, but society as a whole, as usual, will be slow to change.
Don’t bet your future on a broken promise. The American Dream isn’t dead, it’s just different.
Job satisfaction has been on the decline for the last 30 years, and things are changing fast.
That’s because there’s a shift going on right now:
We are currently living through the 4th Industrial Revolution and just like the previous three, this one will most benefit those who adapt quickest:

Unlike the first three industrial revolutions, however, the power is in the hands of the people this time — at least those who dare to choose their own adventure and commit to a path of personal growth.
These are the people I serve.
You see, while success is a team sport, finding fulfillment is entirely up to you.
In fact, fulfillment is a self-fulfilling prophecy that looks like this:
It all starts with:
- 1trying new things to become aware of your own special talents, abilities and passions
- 2honest evaluation and audit of your current skills, strengths and weaknesses
- 3determining where you want to go and how you’ll need to improve to get there
Knowing what you’re good (and not so good) at, what skills you have or need and the types of things you enjoy open up a whole world of possibilities for the motivated.
The Never-Ending Road To Self-Improvement
Let’s face it, no one’s perfect or ever will be, but the road to self-actualization comes through perpetual personal upgrades.
Self-improvement leads to self-sufficiency and if you follow your personal passion, the perfect job opens the door to self-transcendence and finally self-actualization, the achievement of one’s full potential through creativity, independence and a grasp of the real world.
I didn’t make this stuff up, I promise.
It’s the work of Abraham Maslow, one of America’s greatest psychologists and foremost experts on peak potential.
Over his lifetime, Dr. Maslow developed the “Hierarchy of Needs”, which looks like this:
I’ve always been fascinated with this model of psychology, but the big problem that I want to solve is the fact that only 2% of the population are estimated to reach the top of the pyramid and their full potential.
Self-Actualization For All
While Dr. Maslow gave us the proper sequence for reaching self-actualization (there’s actually three more steps in his amended version, which I’ll explain later) and each person has their own passions to pursue, there’s still one important piece missing from the equation — how to make your dreams come true.
That’s where the power of marketing comes in.
I believe the day is coming very soon when knowledge, experience and service to others is the currency with which we all trade. But you’ll still need to get the word out and stand out from the crowd.
When done right, marketing is the ultimate financial leverage and the most effective way to even the playing field in a world full of corporate goliaths and cheap copycats.
If you want to succeed in the future, you’ll need only 3 things:
- 1A why – you must have a good reason for why you want to do what you’re doing
- 2A what – you must have the knowledge and/or experience needed to solve a specific problem
- 3A how – you must have a plan to get your solution to the people that need it most
The why and what are up to you — marketing will do the rest.
You won’t even need (much) money, but you will need all three tools of the trade to reach your full potential:

Simply put, fulfillment and ultimate success comes from a harmonious balance of the three.
A Dream Of Decentralized Success For All
I believe in a world where everyone has their dream job.
And with the tools above, it’s entirely possible to put an end to the old way of doing things, break the chains of wage slavery that rob you of the time necessary to reach your potential and stop the vicious circle once and for all.
When you put it all together, you get a virtuous circle of learn-do-teach that allows you to reach your peak potential faster so you can live more of your life more fulfilled.
Every hour you “work” is an hour invested in you with compound interest.
Here’s what it looks like:
As you can see, I’ve turned Maslow’s pyramid (with the additional three steps) sideways into a timeline and while I can’t help you with the first few steps as they are part of your personal journey, my natural talents and the skills I’ve honed over the last 20 years in marketing have led me to this point in time where I can absolutely help you through the rest of the pyramid.
How?

The secret to self-actualization is that it cannot be attained as an end in itself, but only as a side-effect of self-transcendence.
Sounds simple right?
It can be if you let me show you. All you have to do is believe…
